Online Learning Options
Facilitated Online Courses
With voice and video recordings of Dr. Trish Hatch, supplemental reading, and tasks to deepen your knowledge and understanding, the facilitated course is completed entirely online, meaning there are no physical face-to-face classroom meetings. The course is completed at your own pace though there are set due dates for completion of tasks.
A trained instructor will provide online coaching and grade assignments, facilitate classroom discussions, and respond to questions as participants progress through the course. Completion time varies by participant, but in most cases an average of 15-20 hours is required.
Prior to the start of class, registrants will receive detailed communication including the course syllabus, navigation directions, and the log-in link to access the course. Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of all assignments within the course.
NOTE: Facilitated courses are dependent upon class participation. To ensure a quality learning experience, the course is only available once the minimum number of registrants has been met. Thirty days' notice will be given to registrants with the course start date once a section has been filled. Districts or schools who wish to register a group should contact the office at email@example.com to inquire.
Self-Paced Online Courses
With voice and video recordings of Dr. Trish Hatch, supplemental reading, and tasks to deepen your knowledge and understanding, the self-paced course is also completed entirely online, meaning there are no physical face-to-face classroom meetings.
With the self-paced format, there is not a trained instructor to provide online coaching, grading of assignments, facilitation of classroom discussions, or responses to questions as participants progress through the course. Completion time varies; participants are given 90 days to complete the course at their own pace.
The self-paced online course is available at any time. Once your registration is completed, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to access the course.
Participants do not receive a certificate of completion in the self-paced course; the course material is provided solely for the personal and professional benefit of the participant.
Offered in conjunction with district training packages or on their own, a series of virtual learning webinars on topics such as data technology tools, the Flashlight presentation approach, and developing effective pre/post-tests are available. Please inquire with the office at firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more.
