Objectives
This training is intended to support School Counselors and Administrators at the County, District and Site level and to highlight the critical role of School Counselors in the implementation of the CAMTSS Continuum of Support, including appropriate implementation of universal (T1), supplemental (T2), and intensified (T3) school counseling supports. The training will include an introduction to the Multi-Tiered, Multi-Domain System of Supports (MTMDSS), which promotes the academic, social/emotional, and college and career development of all students. The content will cover how school counselors use equitable, evidence-based practices, whole system engagement, and data-driven planning to align the school counseling program to the district's LCAP goals and help develop aligned services. This training will also highlight the alignment of MTMDSS to the ASCA National Model, including the capacity of school counselors to be leaders, advocates, collaborators, and agents of systems change.
MEET THE PRESENTER
