Provided more than 150 trainings for school counselors and administrators at the request of school districts, State Departments of Education, County Offices of Education and State School Counseling Associations. One, two and three day trainings were held in over 20 states. Topics include:
Designing, developing, coordinating, implementing and evaluating educational programs, particularly school counseling programs.
Awarded over 3 million dollars in federal funding includes Elementary School Counseling Demonstration Act Grant and the Middle School Coordinators Grant.
Evaluator for several districts' Elementary and Secondary School Couseling Program Grant. Expertise in all educational programs areas utilizing the Weiss (1998) evaluation method for studying programs and polices. Particular expertise in Safe and Drug Free Schools and School Counseling Programs.
Director of Governor and Legislator Outreach for Emergency Legislation Task Force (2006). Provided expert advice and consultation to the California Association of School Counselors (CASC). Assisted in drafting school counseling and school safety legislation. Expert witness in legislative hearings.

Current Director of the school counseling graduate program at San Diego State University. Teach courses in Prevention and Intervention, Educational Research Methods, Program Evaluation, Professional Seminar and Fieldwork.
Experienced high school administrator and central office administrator over school counseling programs for 32 schools and 75 school counselors.

Past president of the state school counseling association and former vice president of the American School Counseling Association (ASCA). Held many offices on the governing boards of several professional organizations.

McDaniel Hall of Fame Award for outstanding lifetime achievement in the field of school counseling, Administrator of the Year by the American School Counselor Association and the Golden Bell Award by the California School Boards Association.
